19.20 – Chelmsford – Bint Australia. Came really close to winning a few times & up against newcomers. I reckon experience will tell, so for me, it’s another WIN.

YESTERDAY’S SUMMARY
Yesterday can be summed up in one word – horrendous. Our hot favourite in Race 1 pulled up, losing our first bet. Race 2, our choice again was the top pick and was also the OBAD selection. It came 3rd, losing my 2nd Tripler bet. Thankfully, Faisal came good and won, but at lowish odds, it meant I only clawed back a part of my losses. OBAD lost again and I was down on Ratchet.
It was about as poor a show as the weather. Let’s hope for sunnier days, starting tomorrow.

12.40 – Uttoxeter – Apres Le Deluge. Should be a stroll in the park, but how often have we said that in the past? WIN. RESULT – Pulled Up. (Or should that be jockey Gave Up?) A poor start to the day.
16.30 – Wolverhampton – Desert Vision. Receives a penalty and is up against some stiff opposition. If I am still betting, I may be sliding towards a WIN. RESULT – 3rd. Out of 10 runners. Poor show. Beaten by an 8/1 Luddite.
19.15 – Wolverhampton – Faisal. Great record and ridden by our nemesis, Hollie Doyle. I hope Hollie pulls if off for us. WIN. RESULT – 1st.

16.30 – Wolverhampton – Desert Vision. See above. RESULT – 3rd. I went for a Win so that makes 4 losing bets out of the last 6 placed. My bank is getting a royal tub thumping.
RATCHET – Race 1 lost my stake and even though I won on Races 2 & 3, it wasn’t enough to claw back my initial loss.
