My new system, Doc’s Fav Goldmine, is showing plenty of promise and I have had several winners on the spin. My small stakes are increasing in size, due to a constant supply of winning selections 🙂 My DFG Bank is now really building nicely.
I stop betting if I hit my target of 2.5% (or as near as dammit.) Use your common sense – if you get close to your personal target, it’s your decision as to whether you want to carry on & go for it. Personally, I learned the harsh lesson of being greedy and many times, when just under target, I have “Gone for it,” only to lose the lot chasing bigger profits.

15.05 – Warwick – Annie Mc (73) – Jonjo O’Jonjo O’Jonjo rides ours, but even this triple-named jock won’t pull this off. SPLIT.
16.10 – Warwick – The World’s End (72) – 17 runners. This race is more congested than the M60 in rush hour. One bang & they’re all over the place (said the actress to the Bishop.) SPLIT.

YESTERDAY’S SUMMARY
Big mish mash. If only Busy Street in Race 1 had placed, it would have been a totally different scenario. As it is, we had a 4th, 1st & 2nd on Tripler. The 2nd place was also the OBAD selection & I went for a win. Ratchet was a day of catch up after Race one’s 4th place. My Fav Goldmine came good again with a 2nd place, a win and another 2nd place.
I ALWAYS stop at or close to my 2.5% target. If you went on all 3 races, good for you, you would have had a really nice profit for the day. But one day, sooner or later, you will get bitten on the bum! (It’s happened to me so many times that I now have it drilled in to STOP.) But, that’s entirely your choice 🙂

12.55 – Newcastle – Busy Street. (91) Up against a few decent-ish horses. This includes a really good flat runner (although it’s his first time on an All Weather track) and a recent C & D winner. Personally, I’m going for a SPLIT. RESULT – 4th.
17.10 – Southwell – Carrothers. (66) Curly Spencer’s lad, Jamie steers our trusty steed today. A one mile “leg it as fast as you can” race. WIN. RESULT – 1st.
19.10 – Southwell – Thrave. (101) Another one mile dash and our choice already has two C & D wins so far. I’m going for a Geoff Hurst Hat Trick. WIN. RESULT – 2nd.
