For Tripler, OBAD and Ratchet, I use the 3 selections generated by the HRP software, assess each one and then say what I am going to do. Obviously, you can make your own decisions as to what you think the outcomes will be. Sometimes, the result of a previous race will dictate as to whether I stick with my predictions or not.
My new system, Doc’s Fav Goldmine, is showing plenty of promise and I have had several winners on the spin. My small stakes are increasing in size, due to a constant supply of winning selections 🙂 My DFG Bank is now really building nicely.
I stop betting if I hit my target of 2.5% (or as near as dammit.) Use your common sense – if you get close to your personal target, it’s your decision as to whether you want to carry on & go for it. Personally, I learned the harsh lesson of being greedy and many times, when just under target, I have “Gone for it,” only to lose the lot chasing bigger profits.

If you were lucky, you may have stopped after Race 1 on Tripler, and avoided the dreadful result on Race 2. Race 3 came 1st so not too bad. OBAD was a winner but on Ratchet, it depended on where you stopped.
I am getting a little pee’d off with the horses/jockeys on my selections on Doc’s Fav Goldmine. In Race 1, there were only 6 runners and ours was head and shoulders tipped to win. What happens? A 40/1 numpty goes and wins pushing ours into a pathetic 3rd. I am no horse racing expert but it seems that loads of horses/jockeys seem to give up far too quickly. The following 2 races both won, so not a total disaster.
Doc’s Bank Builder had a 1st race winner, so I hoped you stopped, thus preventing a horrendous brace of races. Enough said.
