My new system, Doc’s Fav Goldmine, is showing plenty of promise and I have had several winners on the spin. My small stakes are increasing in size, due to a constant supply of winning selections 🙂 My DFG Bank is now really building nicely.
I stop betting if I hit my target of 2.5% (or as near as dammit.) Use your common sense – if you get close to your personal target, it’s your decision as to whether you want to carry on & go for it. Personally, I learned the harsh lesson of being greedy and many times, when just under target, I have “Gone for it,” only to lose the lot chasing bigger profits.

A word to the (much) wiser than me. Because of this dreadful weather, we have yet another meeting called off. This obviously reduces the amount of runners we can choose from. I bloody hate winter. I have made my choices but I am NOT putting any bets on personally today. The reduced number of races, plus the conditions these poor animals have to race in makes it a bit of a lottery. If you go ahead, best of luck chaps.

YESTERDAY’S SUMMARY
Great day for the 3 main systems. Tripler had 2 x 1st places in the first 2 races so shouldn’t have been any reason to carry on. It meant a nice win on OBAD as well as Ratchet. (Targets hit before the 3rd race.) My Fav Goldmine seems to have gone on strike. 2 shambolic performances from my 3 selections. I hate it when the weather stops races from taking place. It simply means a lot of our potential selections don’t run, minimising the chances of success. I really, really HATE winter. Please can we have a decent run of weather which doesn’t either drown the courses or freeze them.
