For Tripler, OBAD and Ratchet, I use the 3 selections generated by the HRP software, assess each one and then say what I am going to do. Obviously, you can make your own decisions as to what you think the outcomes will be. Sometimes, the result of a previous race will dictate as to whether I stick with my predictions or not.
My new system, Doc’s Fav Goldmine, is showing plenty of promise and I have had several winners on the spin. My small stakes are increasing in size, due to a constant supply of winning selections 🙂 My DFG Bank is now really building nicely.
I stop betting if I hit my target of 2.5% (or as near as dammit.) Use your common sense – if you get close to your personal target, it’s your decision as to whether you want to carry on & go for it. Personally, I learned the harsh lesson of being greedy and many times, when just under target, I have “Gone for it,” only to lose the lot chasing bigger profits.
I am testing a new system – Doc’s Bank Builder. Similar to Doc’s Fav Goldmine, all bets are in the place market and hopefully, it is winning string to the bow.

14.52 – Sedgefield – Whoshotthesherrif (87) – A couple of decent threats, but ours won in style 3 weeks ago, which is a nice break to give a horse. (Says he who knows Sweet FA about horse racing 🙂 ) WIN.

YESTERDAY’S SUMMARY
Damn good day if you ask me 🙂 The 1st race loss on Tripler was more than made up for by the following 2 races which both came 1st. The OBAD selection won but just like yesterday, the 1st race loss followed by 2 wins made a loss on Ratchet. The 2 wins sweetened the initial loss a bit.
Doc’s Fav Goldmine only had 2 selections today and again, we got them both in the places, so a nice win. Doc’s Bank Builder had 3 selections today and all 3 ended up in the places, giving us a nice win. 🙂

13.00 – Haydock – Uptown Lady (49) – Ridden by Jonjo O’Jonjo O’Jonjo. Doesn’t whack me round the head with a wet cod. A lowish HRP score day today, so I’m going to play it safe. SPLIT. RESULT – 3rd. (LOSS)
15.47 – Haydock – Mr Glass (64) – A really good recent performance and further improvement is expected. Meghan Markle rides ours & should beat Nico de Triumph Bonneville and Godfrey from “Dad’s Army.” WIN. RESULT – 1st. (WIN)
16.15 – Tipperary – Broomfield Hall (40) – Nearly as many runners as the London Marathon. Someone’s got to win but I’m just crossing everything that ours stays the course and finishes in the top 3. SPLIT. RESULT – 1st. (WIN)
