24th March 2021 + Summary + Doc’s Fav Goldmine + Doc’s Bank Builder

** House Notes** Be careful if races start close to each other. You may not get the results of the race you placed a bet on before the next race starts, so do try to either watch a Live Feed of the race, or “watch” the race in real time at Betfair. **

For Tripler, OBAD and Ratchet, I use the 3 selections generated by the HRP software, assess each one and then say what I am going to do. Obviously, you can make your own decisions as to what you think the outcomes will be. Sometimes, the result of a previous race will dictate as to whether I stick with my predictions or not.

My new system, Doc’s Fav Goldmine, is showing plenty of promise and I have had several winners on the spin. My small stakes are increasing in size, due to a constant supply of winning selections 🙂 My DFG Bank is now really building nicely.

I stop betting if I hit my target of 2.5% (or as near as dammit.) Use your common sense – if you get close to your personal target, it’s your decision as to whether you want to carry on & go for it. Personally, I learned the harsh lesson of being greedy and many times, when just under target, I have “Gone for it,” only to lose the lot chasing bigger profits.

I am testing a new system – Doc’s Bank Builder. Similar to Doc’s Fav Goldmine, all bets are in the place market and hopefully, it is winning string to the bow.

STAY SAFE FELLAS.

Not the most stand out of day’s racing, but here goes ………

TODAY’S HRP SELECTIONS

TRIPLER

13.00 – Haydock – Uptown Lady (49) – Ridden by Jonjo O’Jonjo O’Jonjo. Doesn’t whack me round the head with a wet cod. A lowish HRP score day today, so I’m going to play it safe. SPLIT.

15.47 – Haydock – Mr Glass (64) – A really good recent performance and further improvement is expected. Meghan Markle rides ours & should beat Nico de Triumph Bonneville and Godfrey from “Dad’s Army.” WIN.

16.15 – Tipperary – Broomfield Hall (40) – Nearly as many runners as the London Marathon. Someone’s got to win but I’m just crossing everything that ours stays the course and finishes in the top 3. SPLIT.

OBAD

15.47 – Haydock – Mr Glass (64) – See Above.

RATCHET –Instructions for use: http://bit.ly/35tpfR3

DOC’S FAV GOLDMINE – All selections are in the PLACE market, unless otherwise stated. Stop at a profit of 2.5% per day. (Or as near as.) 10% Bank as stake. If a loss happens, keep to the last stake and not 10% of the new, reduced Bank.

15.12 – Haydock – Destinee Royale.

15.47 – Haydock – Mr Glass.

DOC’S BANK BUILDER – All selections are in the PLACE market, unless otherwise stated. Stop at a profit of 2.5% per day. (Or as near as.) 10% Bank as stake. If a loss happens, keep to the last stake and not 10% of the new, reduced Bank.

15.05 – Tipperary – Gortmillish.

15.40 – Tipperary – Casey West.

15.47 – Haydock – Mr Glass.

YESTERDAY’S SUMMARY

Poor start with yet another horse being pulled up in Race 1. Races 2 & 3 pulled it back so a nice win on Tripler. The OBAD selection came 1st, so another winner there. I don’t know what has happened recently, but a lot of horses seemed to have Pulled Up??? Although it meant a loss on Ratchet, wins on Races 2 & 3 pulled some back.

Doc’s Fav Goldmine was a bit of a strange affair. I DIDN’T bet on Races 2 & 3 because the odds were too short. This left one selection and yet again, another bloody “Pulled Up!” What is it with these jockeys? It meant a loss for the 1st time in a while. (Messire Des Obeaux was a huge favourite with only 4 damn runners! And it STILL couldn’t finish in the top 2!)

Doc’s Bank Builder was very similar. I won on Race 1 which meant I stopped for the day. Bloody good job because of even more Pulled Ups. So, wins on Tripler, OBAD & Doc’s Bank Builder, but losses on Ratchet & Doc’s Fav Goldmine.

TRIPLER

14.20 – Wetherby – Messire Des Obeaux (69) – Clear favourite but still has a lot to prove he’s worth the position. Major threat is Marown, who has a better track record. SPLIT. RESULT – Pulled Up. (LOSS)

14.42 – Taunton – Grandads Cottage (82) – Like the above, Harry Skeleton’s mount is the favourite just in front of Time To Tinker, who beat our selection last time out. I’m going for a reversal of fortunes. WIN. RESULT – 1st. (WIN)

15.40 – Huntingdon – Doddiethegreat (66) – Won on debut last time out & with Nico de Triumph Bonneville on board, I’m looking at this horse making it 2/2. WIN. RESULT – 1st. (WIN)

OBAD

14.42 – Taunton – Grandads Cottage (82) – See Above. RESULT – 1st. (WIN)

RATCHET – RESULTS – P/U, 1st, 1st. (LOSS)
