For Tripler, OBAD and Ratchet, I use the 3 selections generated by the HRP software, assess each one and then say what I am going to do. Obviously, you can make your own decisions as to what you think the outcomes will be. Sometimes, the result of a previous race will dictate as to whether I stick with my predictions or not.
My new system, Doc’s Fav Goldmine, is showing plenty of promise and I have had several winners on the spin. My small stakes are increasing in size, due to a constant supply of winning selections 🙂 My DFG Bank is now really building nicely.
I stop betting if I hit my target of 2.5% (or as near as dammit.) Use your common sense – if you get close to your personal target, it’s your decision as to whether you want to carry on & go for it. Personally, I learned the harsh lesson of being greedy and many times, when just under target, I have “Gone for it,” only to lose the lot chasing bigger profits.
I am testing a new system – Doc’s Bank Builder. Similar to Doc’s Fav Goldmine, all bets are in the place market and hopefully, it is winning string to the bow.

YESTERDAY’S SUMMARY
Poor start to the day with a loss on Race 1 on Tripler It seems Trump can’t win anything. I think it would get pulled up if it was the only horse in the race!. However, two 1st places in the next 2 races pulled things back nicely. It was also a win on OBAD but because of the duff result in Race 1, it was a loss on Ratchet. Races 2 & 3 both came good to recoup some of the duffer’s loss.
Doc’s Fav Goldmine only had 2 selections today but both won their races, so yet another great day on this system.
Doc’s Bank Builder had 3 selections today and wowsers trousers, all 3 yet again ended up in the places. (2 of them were race winners.) Another profitable day.
TRIPLER
13.45 – Plumpton – Trump Lady (58) – Underperformed recently and has a lot to prove. Despite this, there is huge potential. However, for me, it’s a SPLIT. RESULT – 6th. (LOSS)
14.33 – Southwell – Cadzand (71) – Only The Bold, ridden by Jim Bowen is our main rival. Harry Skeleton rides ours and is back on more familiar grounds. I’m going to stick my neck out & going for a WIN. RESULT -1st. (WIN)
15.10 – Kelso – Word Has It (92) – Won 4 weeks ago and is head and shoulders the pick of a large field. My 2 biggest headaches – a large field in a Hurdle! But, it sticks out a mile from the rest. WIN. RESULT – 1st. (WIN)
