My new system, Doc’s Fav Goldmine, is showing plenty of promise and I have had several winners on the spin. My small stakes are increasing in size, due to a constant supply of winning selections 🙂 My DFG Bank is now really building nicely.
For Tripler, OBAD and Ratchet, I use the 3 selections generated by the HRP software, assess each one and then say what I am going to do. Obviously, you can make your own decisions as to what you think the outcomes will be. Sometimes, the result of a previous race will dictate as to whether I stick with my predictions or not.
I stop betting if I hit my target of 2.5% (or as near as dammit.) Use your common sense – if you get close to your personal target, it’s your decision as to whether you want to carry on & go for it. Personally, I learned the harsh lesson of being greedy and many times, when just under target, I have “Gone for it,” only to lose the lot chasing bigger profits.
I am testing a new system – Doc’s Bank Builder. Similar to Doc’s Fav Goldmine, all bets are in the place market and hopefully, it is winning string to the bow.

13.45 – Plumpton – Trump Lady (58) – Underperformed recently and has a lot to prove. Despite this, there is huge potential. However, for me, it’s a SPLIT.
14.33 – Southwell – Cadzand (71) – Only The Bold, ridden by Jim Bowen is our main rival. Harry Skeleton rides ours and is back on more familiar grounds. I’m going to stick my neck out & going for a WIN.
15.10 – Kelso – Word Has It (92) – Won 4 weeks ago and is head and shoulders the pick of a large field. My 2 biggest headaches – a large field in a Hurdle! But, it sticks out a mile from the rest. WIN.

YESTERDAY’S SUMMARY
A MUCH better day’s results 🙂 Tripler got 3 out of 3 1st places, so a nice win there. (Depends when you stopped betting; 2.5% or did you carry on?) It meant that we had a nice win on both OBAD and Ratchet. So, 3 wins on the 3 main systems.
Doc’s Fav Goldmine had a win in Race 1 with a nice profit, so I hope you stopped after that result cos the next race buggered it up if you carried on!
Doc’s Bank Builder was virtually the same – a nice profit after Race 1 followed by a loss. Again, I hope you stopped after Race 1 like I did.

14.05 – Chepstow – Es Perfecto (81) – I see a straight battle between ours & Pozo Emery. The place odds are woefully low so even though it’s a large field, someone has to win; why not ours? WIN. RESULT – 1st. (WIN)
17.00 – Carlisle – The Galloping Bear (72) – Won recently and if it performs in the same mould, it should be good enough. WIN. RESULT – 1st. (WIN)
17.15 – Chepstow – Firestep (71) – Nico de Triumph Bonneville steers ours today but he’s up against Harry H Corbett on Gold Bullion. Ours needs to up its game so for this race, I’m looking at a SPLIT. RESULT – 1st. (WIN)
