My new system, Doc’s Fav Goldmine, is showing plenty of promise and I have had several winners on the spin. My small stakes are increasing in size, due to a constant supply of winning selections 🙂 My DFG Bank is now really building nicely.
For Tripler, OBAD and Ratchet, I use the 3 selections generated by the HRP software, assess each one and then say what I am going to do. Obviously, you can make your own decisions as to what you think the outcomes will be. Sometimes, the result of a previous race will dictate as to whether I stick with my predictions or not.
I stop betting if I hit my target of 2.5% (or as near as dammit.) Use your common sense – if you get close to your personal target, it’s your decision as to whether you want to carry on & go for it. Personally, I learned the harsh lesson of being greedy and many times, when just under target, I have “Gone for it,” only to lose the lot chasing bigger profits.
I am testing a new system – Doc’s Bank Builder. Similar to Doc’s Fav Goldmine, all bets are in the place market and hopefully, it is winning string to the bow.

13.45 – Hexham – Franigane (87) – A straight fight between ours and Fugitif. Difficult to go with a winner, so I’m opting for a SPLIT.
15.05 – Cheltenham – Paisley Park (69) – This horse has cropped up a few times on HRP and hasn’t let us down. Looking better than ever, even though it’s a large field, I’m swayed to go for a WIN.

YESTERDAY’S SUMMARY
A few surprises today. We got a Race 1 winner on Tripler, so I hope you hit, or got as near as possible, to your target as Races 2 & 3 cocked us up a bit. Our OBAD selection lost with a 3rd place, but we got all 3 in the frame on Ratchet, giving us a nice overall win on that system.
Doc’s Fav Goldmine brought 2 x 2nd places and yet another win for the system. Doc’s Bank Builder had 2 x 1st places. Yet another great day’s results for the system
TRIPLER
12.35 – Huntingdon – Solwara One (69) – A rock solid performer. Good history and lots still in the tank. WIN. RESULT – 1st. (WIN)
15.05 – Cheltenham – Chacun Pour Soi (69) – Superb performer. Add to this, with our old The Who mucca, Pete Townsend steering, I can’t see anything other than a WIN. RESULT – 3rd. (LOSS)
15.40 – Cheltenham – Easyland (69) – Our jockey has a Toff’s name – Felix de Giles! Wowsers, what a name. Up against Big Dick Johnson and Richie Blackmore amongst others. (Even James Bond’s enemy Elliot Carver is in the mix.) I’m hesitant, so will wait & see what happens in the 1st 2 races before I go for a WIN or a SPLIT. RESULT – 2nd. (LOSS)
