My new system, Doc’s Fav Goldmine, is showing plenty of promise and I have had several winners on the spin. My small stakes are increasing in size, due to a constant supply of winning selections 🙂 My DFG Bank is now really building nicely.
I stop betting if I hit my target of 2.5% (or as near as dammit.) Use your common sense – if you get close to your personal target, it’s your decision as to whether you want to carry on & go for it. Personally, I learned the harsh lesson of being greedy and many times, when just under target, I have “Gone for it,” only to lose the lot chasing bigger profits.

13.38 – Fontwell – Beauport (72) – Won on its second hurdling outing but receives a penalty. Quite a large field & I’ve never heard of this jockey. For these reasons, I’m opting for a SPLIT.
14.30 – Sandown – Little River Bay (82) – We’ve not had a runner with our old mate, Big Dick Johnson for a while. Good history & good jockey. Only 8 runners. WIN.
18.30 – Chelmsford – Shimmering Dawn (69) – Shortish, 7 furlong race & this selection has a good record over 6 furlongs. I’m hoping the extra 220 yards won’t be a problem. WIN.

YESTERDAY’S SUMMARY
Well chaps, today, I managed to get every selection spot on. I went for 2 wins & a split on Tripler & we got 2 wins & a split :). This meant as well as nice wins on Tripler, we got wins on OBAD and Ratchet. Just to cap an awesome day, the 1 selection on My Fav Goldmine also came in. So, all 3 major systems won as well as my little Fav Goldmine. MORE PLEASE 🙂

12.30 – Wetherby – Ballybegg (81) – A large field but I’m confident Ballybegg can pull it off. WIN. RESULT – 1st.
13.05 – Wetherby – Chantry House (72) – Was a recent odds-on favourite and was beaten! However, after a break, it should come back on track. WIN. RESULT – 1st.
14.20 – Dundalk – Raphael (67) – An abysmal recent performance but that should be well behind him. However, being cautious, I’m going for a SPLIT. RESULT – 2nd.
