My new system, Doc’s Fav Goldmine, is showing plenty of promise and I have had several winners on the spin. My small stakes are increasing in size, due to a constant supply of winning selections 🙂 My DFG Bank is now really building nicely.
I stop betting if I hit my target of 2.5% (or as near as dammit.) Use your common sense – if you get close to your personal target, it’s your decision as to whether you want to carry on & go for it. Personally, I learned the harsh lesson of being greedy and many times, when just under target, I have “Gone for it,” only to lose the lot chasing bigger profits.

YESTERDAY’SSUMMARY
Well, so close yet so far! Selection 1 on Tripler came 2nd; I predicted a win & the daft bugger came 2nd. Race 2 was a Non Runner, but Race 3 provided us with a winner. The OBAD selection was the Non Runner and the 2nd & 1st places in Races 1 & 3 proved successful for Ratchet. Unfortunately, my selection for Race 1 on My Fav Goldmine came 3rd and therefore out of the places. IDIOT! Races 2 & 3 both had winning selections. So, it’s time to claw back tomorrow.

13.35 – Carlisle – Castle Rushen (82) – Not run for a few months and also concedes weight. However, the horse’s track record is undeniable. WIN. RESULT – 2nd.
15.15 – Catterick – Wishing And Hoping (97) – Way out in front and has a huge HRP score. Also, the jockey is that BBC Newsreader, Huw Edwards. Huw knows his way round a good story. WIN. RESULT – Non Runner.
16.55 – Kempton – Mack The Knife (86) – Hard to oppose this selection and he will cut through the opposition 🙂 WIN. RESULT – 1st.
