My new system, Doc’s Fav Goldmine, is showing plenty of promise and I have had several winners on the spin. My small stakes are increasing in size, due to a constant supply of winning selections 🙂 My DFG Bank is now really building nicely.
I stop betting if I hit my target of 2.5% (or as near as dammit.) Use your common sense – if you get close to your personal target, it’s your decision as to whether you want to carry on & go for it. Personally, I learned the harsh lesson of being greedy and many times, when just under target, I have “Gone for it,” only to lose the lot chasing bigger profits.

14.00 – Thurles – Whatsnotoknow (77) – A large field and we’re up against The Who’s finest, Pete Townsend – again. (Pete is spending a lot of time in The Emerald Isle for tax purposes.) I’m hesitant, because of the large field, but will go for a WIN.
14.50 – Warwick – Sky Pirate (79) – This horse has been running longer distance races but since he came down to 2 miles, he has blitzed the opposition. Not favourite but I’m going for a WIN.
15.25 – Warwick – Paul’s Saga – (72) – A horse from the other side of the Channel. I’m tipping this French star to come through. WIN.

YESTERDAY’S SUMMARY
My selections were nothing short of disastrous. The only Tripler runner came 2nd, which was bad for Tripler and OBAD but of some relief for Ratchet. My Fav Goldmine selections cost me heavily. Mukha Magic came 3rd, beaten by a 6/1 outsider, so finished out of the places. Driftwood, a MASSIVE odds on favourite couldn’t even win in a 3 horse race. Let’s hope today got the poor results out of the way. It will take quite a few days to catch up my Banks.
